Grayling were super at running laps of our playground for ‘Miles for Mosaic’ charity event. They collected a cube after each lap so they knew how many laps they had completed at the end. Our class total was 280 laps which is 20 miles! Thanks for all the donations towards this amazing local charity.
Grayling have also been busy this week helping to plant sunflower, bean and cress seeds. Our garden is starting to look great with a bug hotel, garden center role play and the greenhouse full of pots! Poundbury garden center have kindly donated us lots of compost, pots, seeds and canes. In Maths this week we have been exploring one more, one less, counting on and counting back. The children have shown this using number lines, cube towers and numicon.
