Christmas has arrived in Grayling Foundation this week! We have been busy practising for our christmas play, retelling the story using our figures (but where has baby jesus gone?!) and our classroom is looking all magical! An elf named Sparkle gave us some lovely christmas stories to read everyday as we count down to the holidays and she is going to watch our learning everyday so that she can let Father Christmas know about our kind hands and words 🙂
In maths we have been exploring number pairs to make 9 and worked amazingly with a partner to share cubes of 9.
No new phonemes this week but use your phoneme books to keep remembering what we have learnt so far. 3 new tricky words are in bookbags.
We are so excited for the christmas play next Friday. Please remember costumes for Monday!
Have a lovely weekend everyone… stay warm!
